The original concept behind The Invasion was; what if there was a world similar to the one found in Roger Rabbit where all cartoon characters exist, living “normal” lives behind the scenes of the movies and tv shows they star in, and then something like The Thing landed in that world as part of an alien invasion? It was a concept which simply combined my love of movie monsters and my love of animation, and then my inner demons joined the fun, and some outer demons joined too, and we’ve all had a great time.
